"Paramount hauled all of the pipe for the LNG Upstream Development Project on shore pipeline. They first hauled the pipe from ships at three different ports to the pipe yards. Pipe was hauled from the port at LaBrea to the Guapo pipe yard, from the port at Point LIsas to the Siparia and Monkeytown pipe yards and from the port at Galeota Point to the Beachfield pipe yard. The pipe was moved on schedule and without delay, preventing the payment of demurrage on the shipping vessels. Paramount then strung the pipe from the pipe yards along the pipeline right-of-way from Galeota Point to Port Fortin.
All of their work was done in a professional manner, on schedule, for a reasonable fee. There were no problems or accidents associated with their work. Their truck drivers and supervisory personnel were skilled and cooperative. Their equipment was in excellent condition.
